Lost Building: Can You Identify It?

Here is a photograph of a Salt Lake County government building as it was in the process of being demolished in the 1980s.  It was a historic County building that served many purposes in its later years.   The first person to leave a comment here that correctly identifies it will win a set of Salt Lake County Archives pencils!

I remember the demolition of those old Salt Lake County office buildings very well, and will never forget the process of clearing records from them before they came down. But I can’t recall if I took the picture!

    — Best wishes and keep up the great work!

I think it started out as a Dr. Ridges (?) Hospital (or a name close to this one); later Salt Lake County hospital.
